PACKING, SHIPPING & RETURNs
COLLECTION & PERSONAL DELIVERY
If you buy one of my paintings and live in the South Wales area, I am happy to deliver it to you in person rather than have it sent via post. There will be a small fee for this service. If you want to arrange to collect it yourself, that can also be arranged if you prefer. Collection must be made within 2 weeks of purchase.
POSTAGE PACKAGING
I take great care in packaging the artwork myself personally, to ensure maximum protection and it gets to you in perfect condition. Paintings will have protective corners, wrapped in layers of protective and waterproof glassine paper, recyclable bubble wrap and final layer of cardboard. Prints will be wrapped in glassine paper and sent either in in a strong cardboard tube or cardboard postal envelope depending on size of the artwork.
SHIPPING & TIMESCALE
At the moment sales are either direct with me or via a gallery. Direct sales will incur a delivery costs. Orders will be sent 1st class via tracked delivery with Royal Mail. Please allow 1 week for mainland UK delivery. You will receive a tracking number and an estimates delivery time-frame in a confirmation email, once your artwork has been packed and posted by myself. Please allow 2-3weeks if having artwork framed or for limited edition prints/bespoke sizes to be printed from my printing specialists.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If you are an international customer and want to purchase a painting, please email me and I can provide a shipping quote for you. International selling will become a standard option once I have set up my shop to provide this service.
damaged artwork from delivery
If your artwork has been damaged in the delivery process, please take photos of the state of the packaging and damaged caused to the artwork. Email me within 3 working days of your delivery date at jacqui@alcemiart.co.uk including photos of the damage and any other information needed. Keep the packaging and artwork until I have contacted you to arrange return and replacement options.
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS & PRINTS
I really hope that my artwork will bring you much pleasure and enjoyment! However, if you feel that what you have bought is no longer suitable, you do have the right to cancel your order. Please email me on jacqui@alcemiart.co.uk with your request for a return and refund. Please do so within 7 days of delivery!
The painting/print must be returned undamaged and reach me in a 100% re-saleable condition, to be eligible for a refund. You will be responsible for the cost of postage and ensuring that artwork is carefully repackaged to avoid damage in transit.
Please ensure that I receive the artwork within 14 days of initial delivery for the return to be accepted and processed. Returned artwork will then be checked and that conditions have been met, in order to reimburse you with a refund.
COMMISSION DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
I charge a 50% non-refundable deposit for bespoke commissions, prior to commencing work on your painting. After I have had your final approval of the painting, I shall invoice you for the remaiming balance. No refunds are available after final approval and painting has been delivered.
Once the deposit is paid and I have started the painting, if you decide you no longer want to continue, the deposit is not refundable and you will not be expected to pay the remaining amount.
